Maintaining the “Santos Press Heritage Standard,” the book features the work of illustrator Marta Maszkiewicz. The art intentionally avoids the “plastic” feel of modern digital gradients, instead utilizing a high-texture, pencil-lead aesthetic reminiscent of classic children’s literature. This “intentional imperfection” ensures that the hand of the artist remains visible, providing a warm, human connection for the young reader.

“Our goal is to depict experiences that children normally face, like the fear of unknown sounds at night, without the need for villains or other forms of antagonists,” says author Franco E. Chomp the Chimp and the Noisy Night will be available in both hardcover and softcover formats (8.5 x 8.5 inches) starting June 2026.
