Cover for Chomp the Chimp and the Noisy Night, a children's picture book

A ribbit, a hoo, and chirping, too?

Written by Franco E. Santos and illustrated by Marta Maszkiewicz, Chomp the Chimp and the Noisy Night is set to release on June 16, 2026. The third installment in The Adventures of Chomp the Chimp children’s picture book series, Chomp the Chimp and the Noisy Night follows Chomp as familiar forest sounds begin to feel different once darkness falls. What is easily ignored during the day becomes more noticeable at night when shapes are hidden and listening takes the lead. As Chomp notices hoots, howls, rustles, and calls, he learns, through patience, reassurance, and careful attention that unfamiliar sounds are often simply the forest speaking in another way. The themes of this book are: Social-Emotional Learning (SEL), Observation, Curiosity, Sensory Awareness, Self-Regulation.

As is the case with the first two books, The Adventures of Chomp the Chimp and Chomp the Chimp and the Rainy Day, Chomp the Chimp and the Noisy Night will be available to libraries and schools through standard wholesalers including Ingram, Baker & Taylor, and international distribution channels. The book will also be available through major retailers across the United States and internationally. The list of US and international retailers will be shared here once the bookstores begin listing the book.
